Do I have To Pre-Register?

No. You are free to simply appear at the course and pay the full registration fee by way of cash, certified cheque or money order (payable to prep.com - no credit cards). Assuming there is space we will be happy to accommodate you. But, only those who pre-register will be guaranteed a space. To confirm start times and locations, simply call 416-410-PREP on the Wednesday prior to the start of the course you desire. When you reach our 416-410-PREP number, press 1 to confirm our start times and locations. But, remember, we don’t require prepayment. You can only benefit by preregistering.

Other Courses Require Prepayment. Why Don’t You?

Prepayment adds to our administrative costs. We have been teaching LSAT and GMAT courses since 1979. We know the size of the market for any of our courses at any time of the year. On the one hand having students prepay doesn’t provide us with any significant benefits. On the other hand, prepayment is not desirable to our students. So, why require it?

What Is Your Typical Class Size?

Our classes typically range from twenty to fifty students. We offer our programs with such frequency that most of our classes are in the range of twenty-five students.

What Kinds Of Books And Course Materials Are Included In The Fee?

All books and materials are included in the fee. All course registrants will receive the following (but those in longer courses often receive books in addition to those specified here):

LSAT Courses:

1. The Book of The Next Actual LSATs from Law Services - 2005 Edition (contains 10 real LSAT exams)

2. Master The LSAT with CD - Thomas Martinson

3. A book from Law Services containing yet another LSAT and commentary.

4. Assorted internally generated course materials.

GMAT Courses:

1. Our course manual - approximately 300 pages of questions and background skills materials (not commercially available)

2. Our course workbook for use in the course itself

GRE Courses:

1. Our course manual - (not commercially available)

2. Our course workbook for use in the course itself

Who Are Your Instructors? Do You Use Students?

We are the only test prep company that does NOT use students as instructors. It takes a long time to become an effective teacher of test prep programs. Our primary instructors are:

For LSAT, GMAT and GRE:

John Richardson, B.A., LL.B., J.D. - of the bars of Massachusetts, New York and Ontario and author of:
- Mastering The LSAT
- Mastering The Personal Statement
- Law School Bound
- Mastering The GMAT (soon to be released).

For MCAT:

Dr. Brett L. Ferdinand - practising surgeon and author of:
- The Gold Standard For Medical School Admissions
- The Silver Bullet - Real MCATs explained
- The Black Book On Canadian Medical Schools

By not using students, we keep our level of instruction far in excess of the “industry standard.” At present our least experienced instructor has over five years of experience teaching with us and is a practicing lawyer.

Receipts

The registration fee for test prep courses is neither tax deductible nor a tax credit. Nevertheless, we recognize that some of you may require receipts for the purposes or reimbursement. Receipts are available at the course. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate requests for receipts prior to the start of any course.

FREE Repeat Policy

Obviously no form of test preparation can guarantee you a specific result. The truth is that test preparation is hard work and there is no magic. Although we cannot guarantee you a specific score, we will allow you to repeat your course under the following conditions:

LSAT - Our courses are run during the six week period prior to specific LSAT dates. You may repeat your course one time for the next LSAT, using your existing course materials, provided that you pre-register and identify yourself as a student repeating the course. THOSE REPEATING ARE REQUIRED TO PREREGISTER! You are NOT required to have taken the test to take advantage of this opportunity.

EXAMPLE: You took a course a course in May leading up to the June LSAT. You may repeat a course offered by us after the June LSAT and in preparation for the October LSAT.

GMAT - You may repeat your course one time during one of the next six months following the month in which you originally took the course. PREREGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO EXERCISE THE REPEAT OPTION.

GRE - You may repeat your course one time during one of the next six months following the month in which you originally took the course. PREREGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO EXERCISE THE REPEAT OPTION.
